The land
We farm the veld, not the animals.
Zera Game Ranch sits in the heart of the Waterberg, a UNESCO biosphere of red earth, broken hills and open bushveld. The whole reserve runs off-grid on solar — no mains power, no town glow, no hum. Just 250 hectares of working wilderness and the sounds that belong to it.
Our first responsibility is the veld itself. Grazing is rested, game counts are monitored, and any off-take is disciplined and seasonal. A calm, well-conditioned wilderness is the result — and the backdrop to everything we offer, from healing retreats to ethical hunting.
